Terms & Conditions

• Lessons may be requested via WhatsApp, email, or the website contact form.

• All lessons are scheduled in advance and are subject to availability. Regular weekly students are given priority when securing fixed time slots.

• A lesson slot is only confirmed upon written confirmation and receipt of payment. Booking requests do not guarantee a lesson.

• Each private session lasts 55 minutes.

• Students must join the lesson via the provided Google Meet link at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start time.

• Lessons begin and end on time. Late arrivals will not result in an extension of the lesson.

• Students are expected to attend lessons in a quiet, distraction-free environment. Lessons will not be extended due to late submission of homework or lack of preparation.

• All lesson materials, worksheets, and exercises will be provided where applicable via a shared Google Drive folder.

• Each student will have access to an individual folder containing lesson materials and assigned work. Homework will be provided in editable Google Docs, and students are expected to complete their work directly within these documents.

• All homework, exercises, or assignments must be completed and submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time.

• Students are responsible for ensuring that all materials are accessible and ready at the start of each lesson.

• All lesson materials, worksheets, recordings, and resources are the intellectual property of Jeanette Tjoeng Zhen Rui and are provided for the student’s personal use only.

• These materials may not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed, published, or resold in any form, whether in part or in full, without prior written permission.

• This includes (but is not limited to) sharing materials with other students, teachers, friends, or on online platforms such as Google Drive, social media, or file-sharing services.

• Unauthorised use or distribution of materials may result in termination of lessons and access to course content without refund.

• Lessons, links, and materials are strictly for the registered student only.

• Sharing lesson access, recordings, or materials with other individuals is not permitted.

Private Lessons

• Single lessons are valid only for the scheduled session.

• 4-lesson packages are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase and are typically used in a consistent weekly time slot.

• Rescheduling is allowed with advance notice.

Group Coaching

• Group sessions run at a fixed scheduled time once the group is formed.

• As places are reserved within a small group, missed sessions are not refundable or transferable.

• Rescheduling is not guaranteed, as sessions depend on the availability of all participants.

General Policy

• All lessons are non-transferable and non-refundable.

• Lessons must be used within the stated validity period.

Private Lessons

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a lesson.

• Rescheduling is limited and subject to availability. A maximum of one rescheduled lesson is permitted per 8 lessons.

• Rescheduled lessons must be completed within the original package validity period and cannot be carried forward.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson will be charged in full. Exceptions may be granted at the teacher’s discretion and are limited to genuine emergencies.

• Missed lessons or no-shows without prior notice will be forfeited and are non-refundable and non-reschedulable.

• Single lessons (one-time bookings) are non-refundable and non-reschedulable once confirmed.

• If the teacher cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time.
  
  

Group Coaching 

• Group sessions run at a fixed scheduled time once the group is formed. 

• As each place is reserved within a small group, missed sessions are non-refundable and non-reschedulable.

• Rescheduling of group sessions is not guaranteed and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, subject to the availability of all participants.

• No-shows or late cancellations will result in the lesson being forfeited.

• If the teacher needs to reschedule a session, an alternative time will be arranged for the group.

Payment is required in advance to confirm and secure all lesson bookings.

Private Coaching

• Lessons operate on a recurring 4-week billing cycle.

• Invoices are issued 7 days before the start of each cycle.

• Payment must be received at least 48 hours before the first scheduled lesson to retain the reserved time slot.

• Late payment may result in the release of the lesson slot.

• Single (one-time) lessons require full payment at the time of booking and are subject to availability.

• Single lessons do not guarantee or reserve an ongoing weekly time slot.

Group Coaching

• A place in the group is only confirmed upon payment.

• Payment secures your position within a specific group and schedule.

• As group places are limited, late payment may result in the release of your spot to another student.

• Payment Options 

• Pay in Full (Recommended) 
  Full payment is made before the program begins to secure your place. 

• 2-Part Payment Plan

Payment may be split into two instalments: 

– 50% before the program begins

– 50% at Week 8 (ARSM) or Week 10 (LRSM)

General Payment Terms

• All fees are charged in SGD.

• International students are responsible for any currency conversion or transaction fees. The full invoiced amount must be received.

• Accepted payment methods:
  – Singapore: Bank transfer, PayNow, PayLah
  – International: Wise, Revolut, PayPal

• All payments are non-refundable.

• If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, it will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time.

• Payment details will be provided upon confirmation.

• A complimentary 15-minute video consultation is available for new students to discuss their goals, current level, and course suitability.

• The consultation is limited to 15 minutes and is intended for initial discussion only. This session is optional but recommended prior to booking the first lesson.

• Students are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection, a working camera and microphone, and access to all required materials.

• All lessons are conducted via live video calls on Google Meet. A meeting link will be provided prior to the scheduled lesson.

• All lesson materials are provided in digital format.

• Technical issues on the student’s side do not qualify for rescheduling or refunds.

• Lessons may be recorded by the student for personal use only, with prior permission from the teacher.

• Students may not distribute, publish, or share lesson recordings with third parties.

• Any recordings, materials, or personal information (including student results) will not be shared publicly without prior written consent.

• Testimonials, photos, or videos may be used for website or promotional purposes only with the student’s permission.

• Students are expected to actively participate in lessons, complete assigned work, and review previous material to support consistent progress.

• Students are also expected to conduct themselves respectfully and professionally during all lessons.

• All teaching is provided based on professional experience and expertise.

• No guarantees are made regarding examination results or outcomes. Progress depends on the student’s effort, consistency, and engagement.

• The teacher is not liable for delays or failure to provide lessons due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including illness, technical disruptions, or unforeseen events.

• Lessons will be rescheduled where possible.

• These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time.

• Students will be informed of any material changes. Continued participation in lessons constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
